Submission of Papers
Only full papers may be submitted, preferably in pdf-format. Papers should be submitted to: confenvironment2018@univ-orleans.fr
Deadline for paper submission is February 1st, 2018.
Notification of acceptance will be sent to authors by March 1st, 2018.
Conference Objectives
The Conference will provide an opportunity for scholars interested in Environmental and Resources Economics to discuss their research and to exchange ideas.
Researchers are invited to submit both empirical and theoretical papers from all fields in Environmental and Resources Economics. For example, we will welcome papers related to the following non-exhaustive list of topics:
- Local impact of natural resources extraction
- Trade and the environment
- Natural resource curse and blessing
- Environmental regulation
- Recycling
- Circular economy
- Conflicts and natural resources
- Households adaptation to climate change
- International environmental agreements
- Energy and renewable energy
- Environment and development
- Pollution
The conference is open to both young and experienced researchers, Ph.D. students, post-doctoral researchers, and professionals from business, government and non-governmental institutions involved in these research areas.
There is no registration fee.
However, participants must register for this event by sending a confirmation e-mail, by March 15,2018 to: confenvironment2018@univ-orleans.fr

Orléans is a city in north-central France, located on the Loire River, about 130 kilometers southwest of Paris. It is the capital of the Centre region and belongs to the Loire Valley which was added by UNESCO to its list of World Heritage Sites.
Orléans is one hour away from Paris - Austerlitz station by train (SNCF website: www.voyagessncf.com). There are two train stations in Orléans: "Les Aubrais" and "Orléans Centre". Once you get off the train at "Les Aubrais" or “Orleans Centre” train station, you can take the tramway to the University (direction “Hôpital de la Source”: TAO website http://www.reseau-tao.fr/). It takes approximately half an hour from the station "Orléans centre" and less than 45 minutes from the station
"Les Aubrais" to get to the University: get off the tramway at the “Université-Château” stop.
Participants are responsible for their travel and accommodation arrangements. Please make your reservations as soon as possible. A list of hotels will be available on the LEO research centre website.
Publication of Papers
A selection of papers presented at the conference will be proposed for publication to an international journal. The conference organizers will contact you about this publication possibility.
