Conceived as a meeting place for members of the economic administration and academic economists, this annual conference, to be held at the Ministry's offices in Bercy, aims to bring together contributions on theThe aim is to bring together contributions on the quantitative analysis and evaluation of the impact of public policies, in order to identify effective policies, offer elements of international comparison and present the most recent methods.
This year, the conference will be opened by Isabelle Méjean, Professor at Sciences Po, who will deliver an inaugural lecture on trade policies and economic sovereignty. In addition, Benjamin Delozier, Head of the Ecological & Sectoral Policies Department at the French Treasury, will chair a closing panel discussion on the challenges of transitioning the energy mix.
The expected contributions, which will be presented in parallel sessions, may cover different areas of public intervention (macroeconomic policies, financial regulation, fiscal and social policies, environmental and digital transitions, sectoral and territorial policies, etc.) and be based on different methodologies.) and be based on different evaluation methodologies.
Contributions will be selected both on the basis of the usual academic criteria of quality and on their interest for informing public deThe program committee will pay particular attention to submissions dealing with French policies or policies that can be transposed to France.
